The Technology in Worship Ministry at Mars Hill exists to support our core ministries. We have one overarching goal - To enhance and assist in the communication of the Gospel to everyone within reach of our efforts.
We view technology as not an end but rather a means to facilitate the communication of the Gospel. We believe that technology is an enabler, and when functioning ideally, is seamlessly incorporated into the worship experience.
The Worship Technology Ministry performs the following functions at Mars Hill.
Consultation with core ministries regarding the ideal use of technology.
Operation and maintenance of Sound, Lighting and Video systems in each venue.
Operations and maintenance of Mars Hill's Business systems, including MIS, desktop, notebook and server computers, websites, newsgroups and email.
Post-production of DVDs, CDs, streaming audio, and video, as required.
Setup and teardown of technology used in temporary venues.
Engineering, planning and integration of future technologies.

16-track audio mixing system in Bob's Cafe - the Student Gathering room.

8-track portable audio mixing system for temporary venues.

Digital recording and post-production of services.
High-definition multimedia dual projection system for Sanctuary

ILS system in church library.
High-speed fiber optic network infrastructure.
Linux and Windows-based computers supporting MIS, sound, video, and Library services.
Digital phone system with voicemail.
Portable Audiovisual systems for classroom use.
Church websites.
Email system.
Information and Accounting system.
