Following salvation and baptism, we encourage you to join our church body to further God's work. Church is not a country club and being a member doesn't automatically assure your salvation. Joining a church fellowship allows for us to come to together as a body of believers in Jesus Christ to fulfill the Great Commission and make disciples in accordance with Matthew 28:18-20:
"Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Being an active member means attending worship, serving in a ministry, giving tithes and offerings, and plugging into a small group Sunday School class.
To become a member of Mars Hill, we offer a New Member's Class every 4 to 6 weeks during the Sunday School hour. In this class, you will learn more about who we are and what we believe, have the opportunity to meet some of our pastors and leaders, tour the church facilities, and meet other believers.
